expose the emptiness

what does it mean

when the stars crumble in pieces?

How does one make peace

with a barren sky burying

the sun in his secrets?

Did galaxies move to comfort him

as his screams travelled light-years,

to reach the Earth where he bleeds.

From the mouth of volcanic rock,

bathing the ground in sunshine tears

to wash down the moonlight[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row thb_divider_position=”bottom”][vc_column][vc_separator color=”white”][vc_separator color=”white”][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Savannah is an emerging writer with an interest in poetry and non-fiction.
