***
We here at ScratchThat publish content in our fortnightly Newsletter, as well as here on the website, and our printed zine!
We welcome submissions from everyone–whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting your creative journey, a student, a professional, or simply someone passionate about creativity.
ScratchThat’s theme this edition is Timestamp. We want you to help us travel through different eras from 1916 to 2016, beyond and before. So go find that thing in the back of your closet that brought you joy when you were ten, that meal you ate for two months straight when you were seven, and that person you forgot about, whether it’s yourself or someone else. Delve into reemerging trends, soak yourself in childhood nostalgia, completely ignore the existence of AI and bring us something worth reliving.
Read Before Submitting:
- ScratchThat will only consider previously unpublished content.
- Each submission will go through our Editorial Board and Copyediting team before being published.
- ScratchThat will not publish work with disrespectful language. Do not include racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise bigoted content unless the theme is destroying that discrimination.
- Profanity, sexual content, and nudity (in artwork) can be included but must be appropriate for the magazine. All work will be evaluated for suitability.
