We welcome submissions from anyone, regardless of where you are studying, or if you’re studying at all; we only seek to amplify emerging creative voices. Please note that we limit submissions to three (3) pieces of written work in any genre and three (3) pieces of art in a suite. Please also familiarise yourself with our weekly themes, and with the theme for our Spring 2024 printed zine: Emotion.

Read Before Submitting:

–        ScratchThat will only consider previously unpublished content.

–        We ask that if your piece has been rejected, please only submit it again if it has been significantly reworked.

–        Each submission will go through our Editorial Board and Copyediting team before being published.

–        ScratchThat will not publish work with disrespectful language. Do not include racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise bigoted content unless the theme is destroying that discrimination.

–        Profanity, sexual content, and nudity (in artwork) can be included but must be appropriate for the magazine. All work will be evaluated for suitability.
