Caity is an emerging visual artist based in Meanjin (Brisbane). With a focus of both traditional (pencil) and digital mediums she explores the intricacies of ‘self’, identity, mental health, the complexity of human nature, and existence. She has a particular interest in portraits and the human expression, visualised in a surreal way. Bringing together a realistic style with an abstract presentation of illustrations she hopes to create a visual outlet for expression. Alongside her creative passion, Caity is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). View her portfolio here.
