A Series of Portraits is a series of works that focuses on forms of identity and how identity can be disrupted. My inspirations in particular came from fingerprints, and how the lines in fingerprints are almost topographical. How are the lines on our bodies mapped out, and how can outside sources change the direction of these lines? I used a variety of mediums and art forms including lino printing, collage, and painting, as this series was more based on experimentation and play.
