BITE explores the vulnerability of the animal and her resistance to the hunt. The female form is often depicted as delicate and wanting, devoid of any real fight. BITE showcases the ugliness of the animal so often thought of as a sense of comfort, showing what lengths of ugliness a person can be brought to when provoked
Artist bio:
Ava is a Bachelor of Arts student at the Queensland University of Technology, majoring in Acting. She is a performer through and through, primarily practicing her craft in various live theatre shows across her studies. Her practice extends past the theatrical arts in her work as a photographer and visual artist as she joins the art and production team in this project.
