Jack Hawkins
This is the first submission of any of my photography. It has been a wonderful experience going through my collection of shots taken from my DSLR, and actually trying to depict which photos resonated with me when considering the themes of euphoria. With my photography style I intend on capturing the rawness of a moment, so these photos are unedited. This four-piece-series represents three different aesthetics on what euphoria can look like through a lens. Getting away from it all, appreciating beautiful skyscapes, and being in good company.

Jack Hawkins (he/him) is a Meanjin(Brisbane)-based film student with an enthusiasm for
short film, photography, poetry, and script writing. He is currently producing and co-writing
an upcoming audio drama titled “Fractured Sanity”, a psychological thriller podcast. He
aspires to capture intimate photos of humans and nature.
